I've listed what you will get from this cheat, what are the risk
involved, and how to minimize it. However, I claim no responsibility
should anything happen to your character or your account when you're
using this cheat.
As the Nintendo guys say, "Now you can play with power" <g>
1. INSTANT STRAIGHT-25 STATS
Advantage: STR - Now you can carry almost anything. Fighter class
will score a hit almost everytime because
of the very low THAC0. Other classes will benefit
as well.
INT - No apparent real benefit here.. 18 INT might just
give you the same result.
WIS - Same with INT.
DEX - Gain 2 AC lower than what you'd normally get.
CON - Gain the bonus HP when you train. Also helps your
save throw.
CHA - No benefit here as CHA plays no importance in the
game.
Risk : Very big risk here. Stats are permanent, and if management
found out about your stats, you're toast.
Minimize : Select straight 18 stats instead (which is possible without
any modification with the original program, but only after
spending lots of time rolling.) Why waste time and give
AOL more money than they deserve everytime you roll a character?
Edit the file GAME.EXE with your favorite hex editor.
2. INSTANT TRAINING
Advantage: Now you only need 1 XP to train to 2nd level, 2 XP for 3rd
level, and so on.
Note for multi-class non-human: train for all your classes
everytime you visit the training center.
Risk : Someone might noticed how fast you max your character.
Minimize : Max your character during quiet hour. Even prime-time hour
might be worth it, as it will take less than one hour to
max a character from scratch -- best record I know without
this cheat is 4 hour.
3. EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA SPELLS
Advantage: More than double the number of spells you can memorize.
Risk : Management might find out when they check your character.
Minimize : Reset the memorized spells before you sign off.
4. ZERO-FEEBLEMIND EFFECT
Advantage: Cast spells from memory even when you're feebleminded.
Your INT and WIS will stay at 25 instead of going down to 7.
Risk : Someone might notice that you cast too many spells after
the feeblemind.
Minimize : Don't cast too many spells after feebleminded so you
can always say "I casted that spell from a scroll."
5. NEAR PERFECT SAVE THROWS
Advantage: Be the best PVPer in the land.
Risk : Some players might notice how good your saves are, and
they might "sing" to the management.
Minimize : Use it sparingly.
6. OUTRAGEOUS XP
Advantage: Get hundred of thousand of XPs from every encounter.
Some encounters will even yield more than one million XP.
Risk : Someone might notice how fast your XP build up.
Minimize : Use it sparingly.
6. 1-HP MONSTERS
Advantage: All monsters will have 1 HP. Even the toughest monsters
in the game can be easily handled now.
Risk : Someone might notice it during battle.
Minimize : Don't use it during busy hour. Or don't use it in crowded
areas.
7. OUTRAGEOUS GEM VALUE
Advantage: You will get some 50,000 gp whenever you appraise a gem.
Buy more gems for 200 gp each and appraise them again to
build a fortune in no time.
Risk : None. Can't be checked by the system.
Minimize : None.
8. FREE TRAINING
Advantage: No need to pay 1,000 gp everytime you train.
Risk : None. Can't be checked by the system.
Minimize : None.
